Dear Christel, Arnie, Monica and all of Mrs. Marta's grandkids and family, I am sorry to hear the news that your Mom passed away. She was always such a great friend to our family as we were growing up. The endless hours we spent visiting and camping together showed me what a fun loving, feisty, yet kind and caring woman she was. Dutiful and energetic are also words that I thought described her then. Even though she suffered some serious heartbreaks, she carried on bravely. I know you will miss her deeply. We know she is at peace in Heaven, rejoicing with our Lord, and all of Marta's loved ones that went to Heaven ahead of her. Knowing her she might even soon be checking out the heavenly mansions we have been promised, just to see if there is anything that might need doing before the rest of her family gets there. I am sorry for all of you for the loss of such a wonderful lady.
