Dear Mary Anne and family,
Theresa is a very bright light that will live on in all of us that have had the pleasure of meeting her and being in her home. My mother-in-law, Deevana Rangam from India, stayed with Theresa for an overnight visit to the farm on one of her visits to Canada. It was one of her highlights of travelling to Canada and meeting this amazing woman. She was in awe about the remarkable way in which Theresa led her life. Both of them shared a common bond and stories about being widowed at a young age and having to step up and raise their families and be their providers. I believe they concluded that they did a very good job!
She will be missed and so will her outstanding homemade strudels. I am so honoured to have had the opportunity to enjoy a strudel and a cup of coffee in her kitchen.
We will be thinking of you all on September 11th and we look forward to celebrating her life with all of you.
