I have known my loving Aunt Anna for 99 years, ever since we came to Canada in 1953. As children, our family visited her and the Walls in Hespeler many times. And then came the famous Wall reunions where we got to know the rest of the Wall family. Even when my mother ended up in the VIneland Home, Aunt Anna came to visit-- here is a cavalcade to a nearby park with Kristina and boys. Our grandson Joshua was also born on Christmas Day, just like his "twin" Aunt Anna, only 97 years later, Here they are celebrating her 100th birthday. Aunt Anna had a hibiscus plant that would produce up to 200 flowers a year, and each flower would be given by her to a resident, a staff member, a friend who dropped in, and encouraged to wear it in our hair. She had many many people who loved her, and even when she was at Shaver for 5 months, some of them took the time to visit her and pray and reminisce with her. Thank you! Even her 101st birthday was celebrated by family there. In March 2023, she moved to Tabor LTC where she enjoyed the company of her table-mates Mollie and Loretta. And the staff were so good to her -- a special thank you to Collins and Thomas. And on her last birthday, just a week before she died, some of us in her family were able to bring a little birthday cake and celebrate Communion with her. (Thanks, Owen). You will never be forgotten, Aunt Anna We love you!!
Yes Aunt Anna as always had it well in hand, even planning her Celebration of Life, and then gave God all the honour and glory. Thank you God for giving us your beloved Anna. Thank you to the Tallmans, Pastor Rob and all his Scott St Church team and members. and other participants for making it just as A Anna wanted it. To God be the glory.

From the moment I met her, I have loved Aunt Anna. Her kind heart, love and genuine caring for others could be felt whenever you were with her. She was a faithful prayer warrior for many, including my boys and for Mark and myself. Despite mobility issues, when I saw her last at her 100th birthday party, she still enjoyed going out, spending time visiting and she still had her sense of humour. She will be dearly missed, but I know that she is where she was longing to be, enjoying the company of her Saviour.
