Only to have it rained out! Great Guy Great Friend will be missed at the Rotary sunset concerts in Jordan in the summer. Rest in peace Buddy..

Ian and I are so sad to hear about the passing of your beloved Father
We moved to Vineland 3 1/2 years ago. Gord was our neighbour behind our home on Azalea Cres
We enjoyed talking to Gord over the fence, we enjoyed a visit to Gord's home-sharing snacks and cocktails
We were on vacation at the end of November and then the Holiday Season crept up
I seemed to know Gord's routine and kept mentioning to my Husband that I hadn't seen Gord for several days if not weeks
For some reason, I just had this feeling, not ever realizing that Gord had passed away
I look over to his home and have fond memories
Gord will be missed
Ian and Theresa

Dear Ronya, Tamara, Gordie, Terri and families
I was shocked to read about Gord's passing. Many years ago your father and mother were very good friends of ours - Gord was the godfather of my son, Alan. I have often thought of all the things we did and the good times we had with Gord and Gaye. But we all have lost touch with each other as our lives go in different directions.
My thoughts and prayers are with you now in this sad time. RIP Gord.

my deepest condolences to Ronya, Tammy, Teri, Gordie and your families. I was saddened to hear of your great loss, and the loss to our community. I first met your sweet dad when I was in Grade 3 and he was my baseball coach. I was a terrible player, but he treated us all fairly and equally. He was always so kind and encouraging. He left a huge impression on me in those two short summer months. I ran across him several times in my adult years, he remembered me, and remained so very kind, welcoming and just a lovely person. I saw him regularly working at his local church and finding ways to contribute to our community, not for accolades but quietly serving. A true example to us all. He will be sorely missed. I am praying for you all that you are comforted in your deep loss. Amy Leyenhorst

We just got the news of Gord’s passing. We are out of the country - otherwise we’d be there to tell you all in person how sorry we are - and how much we respected and enjoyed the friendship of both Gord and Gaye. Whether it was volleyball, playing cards or biking, we all laughed a lot. They were very kind and caring people.

My mom and I got to know Gord when he was in Sheila's diner with his buddies. When he walked by our table, he would say hello. So I was sorry to hear about his passing.
