Obituary of Gordon Bennett Ripenburg

Ripenburg, Gordon Bennett; passed away January 5th, 2024 in his home, he was 80. Predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Gaye (nee Procyshyn). Devoted father to Ronya (Joe), Tamara (Bill), Gordie, Terri (Nick). Cherished Grandfather of Justine (Matt), Jakub (Alyssa), Logan (Pat), Jack and Hudson, Joseph (Heather) and Liam. Loving Great Grandfather to Ava, Cordelia, Blake, Mya, Evie and Boone. Predeceased by his brother Cliff Ripenburg and brother in law Barry Clyde, survived by his sisters Alice (Wally) Reid and Blanche MacPherson, sisters in law Betty Ripenburg, Marion Clyde and Bonnie Procyshyn.

Gord absolutely lived for his family, his favourite times were just spending time with everyone, loved watching their sports and supporting all of his kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Golfed weekly with Don Gibson and John Trussler. He was very social, President of the Lincoln Seniors Club from 2017-present, participating in line dancing and euchre among other acitivites there. Active at Southridge Church, volunteered driving the caribbean workers. 

He will be missed by everyone who knew him. He always lived up to his nickname Gordie Good Guy.

Family will be receiving visitors for visitation at Tallman Funeral Home, 3277 King Street, Vineland, Monday, January 8, 2024 from 4-7pm and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either the Cancer Society or Southridge Community Church.
