Guy was often with me during the Bible College days and was always enthusiastic in the things we were doing. Our thoughts are certainly with you at this time.

Our deepest condolences to the Stopard Family. Guy Stopard provided guidance, support, and wisdom in the founding of Three Fishes Christian Elementary School. His optimism and steady faith in the LORD has been evident in all he did. We are going to miss him, but we'll see you soon, brother. - Rentola Family, Doug and Laurel Ann Mirams

Guy did all he could to support young people. Jess and I went to Christian Heights in Little Valley NY 2 yrs in a row.
We had a youth event at Taquamenon Falls in upper MI. I rode down with Marilyn Whitfield driving. Needed a washroom urgently, could not see one. The kids were merciless, talking about OPeeChee gum Finally we saw a place to stop. It was called the Bear Butt Bar & Inn. In I went! On the way out, there was Guy, with a camera, snapping a pic of me coming out ot the Bear Butt Bar & Inn. It made it into the bulleting the next day.
One day in Hamilton, Guy and Marg had planted a garden. Very very early next morning, Guy had gone to the farmer's market, bought fresh carrots, and put them in the garden. Later that morning, he's looking out the kitchen window, and yells for Marg, "You GOTTA see this!" I saw the mystified look on her face.
Guy Stopard was the most trustworth, loving human being I have ever had the honour to know. Condolences to Marg, Bill, Tom, Tracy. I look forward to seeing Guy again!

Rob considered Guy to be a very close friend. I think they both had similar senses of humour. I appreciated Guy's thoughts at Rob's memorial in Tintern. When my Dad passed in '92 Guy did a little memorial for him at service on Sunday. I don't know if I ever told him how much I really appreciated that. Marg, I am so sorry that he had such a hard time but we both know he is free from all that now. Love you and feel for you! Give a hug to all your kids for me.
