Barb, Sarah & Becky, very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I go back many years and first met Dave at the bowling league in Burlington back in the early 1980's. We even formed our own team one year. While we did not finish in 1st place as David would have liked, we had a good time, exchanged many stories and of course shared a few pints in the lounge to wrap up the evening.

Dave was the first neighbour we met when we moved into Ryan’s Walk in November 2019. He was cheerfully returning our garbage cans, as he did every week with his helper Barb. I was decorating a Xmas urn in the garage, and he chatted away to us, and made us feel very welcome. He will be sadly missed.

Wow! I just saw this notice. I remember Dave very well from the time we lived in Beamsville. I went to many stock car races with him! We walked to school together. He sure was a loyal friend. To bad our lives led us in different directions. Blessing to you Barb and your family as you remember those many previous years you had with him.

Hi Barb, I was totally shocked to hear of Dave’s passing. We had many good times watching Logan and Colton’s hockey games in that frigid old arena. We were always going to get together and go bowling but we never got around to it. My heart and thoughts go out to you Sarah Logan and Noah. God bless.

I have known Dave since 1969 when he was transferred to the Toronto Gulf Canada office. We both worked together in the Sales Processing Department, checking the prices on invoices to customers. Before each of us got married we went on double dates. Dave was dating Barbara Allen from Beamsville. Dave and Barb attended our wedding in 1972 and we went to theirs the next year. Both Dave and I were interested in sports. Together we went to lots of Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and junior hockey games. Rest In Peace Sports Buddy!

Hi Barb. Not sure if you remember me but we lived on Queen Street when you were still living at home on Mountain Street. So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I always remember him walking his dog all over town. Now that was a while ago. Thanks. Take care. Ted Dunsmore
