I met Dave in 1969 when he was transferred to Gulf Canada in Toronto and we worked together in the Sales Processing Department. Dave and his girlfriend Barbara Allen went on double dates with my girlfriend and I. As a foursome we had lots of fun together. Dave & Barb attended our wedding in 1972 and we attended theirs the next year. Dave loved sports and so did I, so I became his Sports Buddy. Dave and I went to lots of Blue Jays and Maple Leafs games as well as junior hockey games. Rest In Peace Sports Buddy.
Deepest sympathies and condolences to Dave's family for the loss of your husband, Father and Grandfather. Dave was always one of the most kind, gentle and jovial people I knew. I always looked forward to catching up with him at our annual weekend golf gathering in Haliburton each Fall. He was always the tallest golfer in our group and could hit the ball a mile off the tee.
